GENERAL INFORMATION

Booking, Payment & Arrangment

  • Payment details will be forwarded once the booking inquire is received.
  • We will then finalize a suitable schedule together.
  • Spot(s) will be reserved only upon receipt of full payment. Essential materials and further details will be provided once the spot is confirmed.
  • The course fee includes:  The Course Manual, Pool Rental, Ferry Ticket and Certification. Plus, documentary video and photos by us.
  • For group booking with 2 or more participants, course timetable can be customized.
  • All Payment is final and non-refundable.
  • Minimum of 2 students per class. Classes may be postponed if enrollment is less than 2 students.
  • We reserve the right to change course schedules, locations, and dates. Students will be notified of any changes as soon as possible.
  • We reserve the right to cancel courses due to insufficient enrollment. Students will be rescheduled to another course.
Cancelation & Reschedule
  • Once time table is agreed. Course schedules can only be changed once, and must be requested at least 1 week in advance.
  • A HKD$400 administrative fee will be charged for any class time change within 1 week.
  • No make-up classes or refunds will be provided for student absences or class cancellations due to personal reasons.
  •  If cancellations made within 24 hours of the original class time will be consider as absence and no make-up classes or refunds will be provided.
  • All courses must be completed within 3 months of the start date.
  • Minimum of 2 students per class. Classes may be rescheduled if there is less than 2 students.
  • If a class is canceled due to instructor absence, a make-up class will be provided.
  • We reserve the right to change course schedules, locations, and dates. Students will be notified of any changes as soon as possible.
Equipment
  • Basic equipment: Including Mask, Snorkel, Fin and Wetsuit and should be prepared by the participants. (Except for Aida1)
  • 2/3mm Wetsuit is optional but highly recommended. It provide positive buoyancy on the surface and can prevent you from temperature lost, sunburn and Jelly fish sting etc.
  • Tho there is equipment specifically design for freediving, there is no strict requirement on this for taking a entry level class. If you have something similar, ie. scuba / snorkeling gear. Feel free to use it to enjoy freediving.

  • Having your own gear is always a fun part of any sport. We will introduce different kind of equipment in the theory class and you may decide what to purchase afterward.

  • Ocean (Shore Dive) : Sharp Island/ Half Moon Bay Sai Kung.
  • Ocean (Boat Dive): TBC
Weather Arrangment
  • All activities (including course, coaching and photo – shooting) should perform under a safe and secure condition.
  • All activities will be cancelled if the Observatory issues a pre-No.8 special announcement two hours prior to our scheduled time.
  • In the event of a black rainstorm warning issued by the Observatory during a theory session, the session will proceed as scheduled.
  • If the red/black rainstorm or T3 or above warning signals are lowered two hours before the class, all classes will proceed as normal. Except for outdoor photo-shoot.
  • Weather and water condition change over time. This guideline serves as a reference only. Our staff will make appropriate arrangements prioritizing student safety. Students will be notified promptly in the event of class cancellation.
  • In the case of cancellation due to inclement weather, any affected activity will be rescheduled.
Health & Medical
  • Medical form will be given and required to sign prior any course commerce.
  • To ensure diving safely, participants should inform us in the case that you are having a, but not limited to sea sick, fever, cold, blocked nose or any other kind of discomfort. Before, during and after the activity.
Freedivng Course & Coaching
  • Course will be conducted in a small class setting. From a minimum 1:2 to a maximum 1:4 students. Ensuring every get the best care in class.
  • 1:1 session is available upon request.
  • Each session is approx 2-3hours.
  • Please note that for safety reason, all participates should listen and follow the instructor and/or people in charge guideline. We have the final right to terminate the activity at anytime.
  • If the passing requirement(s) is/are not fulfilled at the assigned period of time during the course, student(s) may join our coaching session and should continue to practice the required technique. Once it is accomplished within 1 year of the origin course commerce date, it will be considered as a pass.
  • During the activity, EZZDIVE may record the process in image or video form. And, such, may be used on our website and social media for educational and/or promotional purpose.
Photography & Videography
  • EZZDIVE reserves the right to reschedule the photo session due to undesirable weather or personal emergency. If a session has to be cancelled due to these reasons, a new photo session will be re-scheduled within 4 weeks of the date originally booked.
  • In the event the photographer(s) / EZZDIVE cannot perform this Agreement due to any technical malfunction like hardware failure, loss, theft of equipments, etc. , another shooting session will be organised. The photographer(s) / EZZDIVE shall then have no further liability with respect to the Agreement.
  •  The client’s selected photos will be available on a private online link approximately two to four weeks after the photo session. The processing time may be prolonged during peak seasons.
  • Final images are delivered in fully edited JPEG format. Video in Full HD Mp4 format.
  • No RAW and unedited JPEG images / Footage will be released as they do not reflect the quality of our works
  • Final images will be edited according to the photographer(s)’ / EZZDIVE aesthetics. Standard retouching procedure including adjusting colour / contrast / exposure and minor defects touch-up will be covered. There may include creative procedure that will make things appear different than they actually are, for instance, slimming, changing hair style, remove tan lines, changing colours of clothes/objects, etc.
  • The Photographer / EZZDIVE owns all copyright, title and interest in and to all the images from the session (including those delivered electronically) and reserves the right to use the images and/or reproductions for display, publication (print and online) or other marketing/promotional related purposes.
  • The fees paid to the photographer(s)/ EZZDIVE allows you to use the images purchased (both digital and in print) for personal use only. Under no circumstances can a client use these images for profit, commercial endeavours, in competitions, professional display, or any other purpose outside the express terms of this agreement. Images also may not be altered or copied without express consent of the photographer / EZZDIVE.
  • You hereby release and discharge us from any and all claims and demands ensuing from or in connection with the use of the images, including any and all claims for libel and invasion of privacy. This authorization and release shall inure to the benefit of the legal representatives, licensees and assigners of  by EZZDIVE.
  • For valuable consideration, you, the parent/legal guardian of the aforementioned Child(ren) grant us permission to use the images (in which you and/or your children appear) in any way, as means of promoting our business.
